Welcome to Mary’s Floral: a unique place to get your home decor and gift needs. My name is Mary Munnings and I have been designing for over 35 years. I enjoy working with natural materials, cotton stems (bolls) and finding creative uses for found objects. My latest obsession is with cotton stems, nests and burlap. I just love the ‘farmhouse’ look. My designs incorporate many re-purposed items like glassware, frames and natural products. I create out of my home studio and my work can be found at http://www.marysfloral.net, Etsy.com/shop/Marysfloral, Facebook.com/Marysfloral1, and at many area craft shows throughout the year.
Look for my space at the up in coming new home décor store Our Moments in Time in Holly Springs; a great place that showcases local artists.
I began sewing in 1997 making quilts for myself and as gifts. My sewing projects have evolved after having children, wanting to make them quality items that I know would last. I have gradually added embroidery to my repertoire, and I love personalizing projects.
- I started by sewing children’s products as I loved the idea of giving a handmade, personal gift. I like to encourage imaginative play for children with my super hero capes for girls or boys. Let your child pretend to be their favorite super hero or have them design their own super hero so they can run around the house or outside while using their imagination.
- My youngest son loved to look out the window but he could never quite see out. I decided to make him a pillow that he could use as stool to look out of the windows. He started to carry it around the house and uses it as a comfortable place to lay his head while reading.
- With the passing of my mother-in-law I added another aspect to my sewing, memory pillows. I wanted something around the house that my boys could remember their grandma by. I can create these pillows using any clothing item that is memorable for you, and I can add your loved ones name or a saying to the pillow as well.
- For Christmas in 2014, my husband gave me an embroidery machine. I can now add embroidery to towels, shirts, baskets, bags, and pillows. I enjoy giving teachers and friends personalized ornaments during the holidays.
- Do you have a pile of T- shirts, jerseys, sweatshirts or baby clothes that you like, but don’t know what to do with them? T-Shirt quilts are a great way to keep memories in one place. These quilts can be made from sorority, fraternity, race and favorite shirts or even baby clothes.
Luggage Tags, Bag Tags
- When traveling, I have always had a hard time finding my luggage. All those black bags look the same. I decided to make my own! These bag tags can be embroidered with 1 initial or all 3 initials. They also make a great addition to your child’s book bag so they can find theirs at school!
If you have any other sewing projects, I would love to help you out. I love starting new projects to help you customize a gift for family or friends.

Scentsy | Raleigh, NC
Hi! I am Shannon and I am a Scentsy ADDICT! I became a consultant because I wanted to share my love of Scentsy with everyone and to show off how amazing the product really is. I used to be addicted to candles and would have them burning 24/7 which was a MAJOR hazard, but luckily I don’t have to worry about that ever again! Not only do I not have to worry about a flame or the harsh pollutants that candles give off, but the scent lasts so much longer with Scentsy. I am so glad that I made the switch and I would love to help you all out 🙂

LuLaRoe Raleigh | LuLaRoe Women’s Dresses, Skirts, tops and Leggings
Woman’s and children’s clothing sold through Direct Sales Fashion Consultants. It cannot be purchased online. Fun, modest, stylish, and affordable clothing for all shapes and sizes.
Hi!! My name is Jennifer LaPalme! I am your Raleigh area LuLaRoe Fashion consultant!! I would love to share what LuLaRoe is all about with you!!! If you have any questions or would like to schedule a pop up party at your home email me at lularoejenniferlapalme (at) gmail.com.
If you are local to Raleigh and would like to host a pop up boutique at your home please contact me. There are no sales pitches, no catalogues, no waiting for your clothes to arrive. Just 1-2 hours of you and your friends trying on our beautiful and comfortable clothing. The benefit to you? For every ten items sold, you earn 1 free piece of LuLaRoe clothing!!!
LuLaRoe, at the core, is a direct-sales clothing company which sells limited edition clothing via independent fashion consultants all over the US at in-home parties, pop-up boutiques, and in private online selling groups (join mine by clicking here!)
The Clothes: LuLaRoe clothes are beautiful, colorful, trendy, and modest. They are made to fit a variety of body shapes and sizes ranging from XXS- 3XL. While LuLaRoe primarily designs women’s clothing, they also have a children’s clothing line and men’s clothing, as well!
The Leggings: LuLaRoe is best known for our buttery soft leggings! The leggings are made in two adult sizes and three children’s and out of amazing, buttery soft, double-brushed fabric that feels as good to wear as it does to look at in your dresser and pet.
The Prints: People also know LLR for our incredible fun prints! Each print is made into a limited number of items, so if you see something you love in your size, grab it while it’s hot! When a consultant places an order, we only choose styles and sizes, so we never know which prints we are going to get or if we are ever going to see the same style-size-print combination again.
That’s what sets LuLaRoe apart from other direct sales companies – each consultant has a unique inventory instead of the same 200 items – and lets our customers experience “the thrill of the hunt,” searching for their personal “unicorn” prints! All fabrics, prints, and designs are exclusively made for LuLaRoe.
The Rest: LuLaRoe is about so much more than clothes, though! It’s about community, fun, generosity, and helping women be independent, strong, business owners in today’s world. LuLaRoe encourages women to be ambitious and generous with their business goals.
Our founders are Haley Gray, and Christine Schoaff. This company was born when Haley experienced care giving for both of her parents simultaneously, while caring for four small children, and working a full time job. Some of the caregivers which worked with her parents were fantastic. Some of them were not. Some of them outright neglected Haley’s father who had dementia and Parkinson’s, leaving him sitting in a soiled diaper for hours, and leaving him alone while on duty. Other caregivers weren’t so bad, and they just neglected to scoop the kitty litter box, resulting in a nasty, smelly apartment.
Haley spent hours talking to the good caregivers trying to understand what motivated them, and what didn’t. It became clear that most of the good caregivers consider this line of work to be a calling. Frankly, you can’t pay someone to do this kind of work, and expect them to want to do it. They have to WANT to do it. So, the question becomes- how do we attract, and retain the industry’s best and most caring caregivers? We surveyed a number of caregivers and other personnel in the industry to understand what was important to them. Then we set about to start a company which provided those things which were most important to the caregivers.
From the client side of the equation, Haley interviewed a number of other clients, as well as geriatric care managers, pharmacists, and others, to ask them what the best practices are in the industry. By combining their suggestions together, and putting together a business plan as part of Haley’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Concentration at Duke, we had the basis of the company. We use technology where it is appropriate. We also use various low-tech approaches to care giving, such as better access to supervisors, random, unannounced drop-ins, and a note-book sharing system so that caregivers and family can communicate with one another about the state of their loved ones.
What this means for you is this- we aim to provide the best of both worlds. That means, better care for our clients, and a better work environment and conditions for our employees. It is quite simply, a win-win.
We have an amazing team of caregivers and managers in this business. Everyone’s first priority is customer safety, and satisfaction. We aim to be an Extension Of You. To make sure that Your Standards Are Realized.
Frustrated that good vintage style dresses are either extremely fragile, the wrong shape for today’s bodies or too expensive, I turned to creating my own designs.
I started making clothes for my daughters back in the 1980s. They’re all grown up now, very much into the Vintage scene and my youngest asked if I could make her a dress.
So I returned to college, studied garment construction, pattern drafting and tailoring techniques, developing the skills to make any women/child a beautiful bespoke dress, jacket or outfit for any special occasion.
It’s so lovely to return to exhibiting at craft and vintage fairs, meeting so many new people.
And now I’ve started passing my skills on through a series of sewing classes; from beginners taking their first steps in sewing, to giving intermediates the confidence and experience they desire to create their own garments and designs.
Here at Piecefully Home I hope you will find items that will add a touch whimsy and charm to your home. I create items I love and would be proud to display in my own home.
I create and design everything for the home. There are fun home accessories, such as pillows, artwork, and quilts. I also offer utilitarian items like aprons, dish towels, and cloth napkins. Nearly all of my items are one of a kind making it extra special to own.
